Not all Polygraph Examiners are alike.

Learn what sets Summit apart from the rest.

It may surprise you to know that many polygraph examiners have little investigative experience and have never conducted a proper forensic interview.

A strong investigative background allows the best examiners to put peripheral matters into proper perspective, define and isolate relevant issues, and formulate correct questions, resulting in a valid and reliable polygraph examination.

  • Different Experience.

At Summit, we rely on our decades of experience to ensure you get a fair and accurate examination that is reliable and trustworthy — an examination that will leave no doubt to your credibility. Technology alone cannot replace the depth of experience of a trained and seasoned investigator.

  • Different Standards.

FBI Polygraph Examiners conduct hundreds of polygraph examinations each year. But because the FBI is both a law enforcement and intelligence agency, FBI examiners conduct complex criminal, terrorism, counterintelligence, screening, and security polygraph examinations all over the world. Within the polygraph community, FBI polygraph examiners are considered among the best and most experienced in the world.

  • Different Education.

Every Federal Polygraph Examiner must attend the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) located in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. NCCA is the largest and most rigorous polygraph training program in the nation, supporting 28 DoD and Federal agencies.

NCCA is also responsible for polygraph Research and Development and compliance oversight on behalf of the US government’s polygraph programs.

  • Different Training.

Special Agents who aspire to become FBI certified polygraph examiners must have years of proven experience conducting complex criminal investigations and resolving sensitive national security matters.

These agents must demonstrate superior interview and interrogation skills while meeting the highest standards for oral and written communication. Only then will the FBI recommend a Special Agent to attend polygraph training to uphold the FBI’s reputation of having the world’s best polygraph program.

Results that count.
